RADIO POPOLARE 
50 e 50 - LA MOSTRA

 On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Radio Popolare, an exhibition curated by Giovanna Calvenzi takes place in the Sala delle Ciminiere at Fabbrica del Vapore. Conceived as a journey through the radio’s history, the exhibition places listeners at its center, celebrating the community that has sustained and shaped Radio Popolare over time.

Developed across two levels, the exhibition revolves around a large central courtyard animated by live radio broadcasting, transforming the space into a public square for exchange and participation. Photographs, archival materials, and images sent by listeners build a shared visual memory, while a video installation by Studio Azzurro enhances the immersive experience.

On the upper level, a graphic installation by Mario Piazza traces the history of Radio Popolare from 1975 to the present, inviting visitors to explore documents, objects, and stories in which the listeners - once again - become the true protagonists.
