When asked about designing the “kitchen of the future” for a public event during the furniture fair in Milano, I immediately tought the icon of any kitchen, forever, will be given by people gathering around food and sharing this experience together. The first image that came to my mind was a group of cow boys sitting around a fire. Easy. But was the second image that gave birth to a paradoxical event: I tought about the first flight of a hot air ballon operated by the Montgolfier brothers in Paris, starting form a fire. Then I just overlapped the two images.
